Howdy! I’m a songwriter, producer, and engineer based in Austin, Texas.

As a lifelong musician, I know how hard it can be to “make it.” More often than not, it feels like the whole industry is up against you, unless you’re one of the chosen few.

I’m here to make what you can control—the writing and recording process—the easiest part. After all, making music should be fun.

Thanks to my background as a touring musician, solo artist/one man band, and studio engineer, I’m uniquely positioned to guide you through the entire process of writing and recording an album as your producer, songwriting partner, and engineer.

This 360 view of music production allows me to bring your vision to life and make sure your song or album sounds exactly how you dreamed it would.

Songwriting with Alec

In Songwriting with Alec, I take you through the step by step process of how to write a song so you can see there are no secrets to making music.

I write lyrics and play guitar, bass, synths, and drums in my home studio in Austin, TX, where I work as a musician, producer and recording engineer.

At its core, Songwriting with Alec is an exploration in all things sound, driven by a lifelong love of music and the creative process.
